Holis AI is operated by Outlier Estates LLC. This Privacy Policy
explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use the Holis AI
mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the service:
- Account information such as your name, email address and password
- Health profile inputs such as age, gender, height, weight and general location
- Health goals, dietary preferences, allergies and sensitivities
- Supplement intake tracking data and reminders
- In-app chat messages with Holis AI
- Blood work and lab results you choose to upload, including
marker names and values extracted from those documents
- Photos and images you choose to provide, including photographs
of supplement labels, supplement photos you send in the AI chat, and blood work
or lab documents
- Subscription and purchase status for premium features
- General location such as a postal code or city, used to tailor suggestions
We do not collect medical records or diagnoses beyond what you choose to provide
in the app.
Camera and photo library. Holis AI requests camera access to scan
supplement labels and to take a supplement photo for the AI chat, and photo library
access so you can share a supplement photo in chat or upload blood work and lab
documents. Both are optional, are only used when you choose to use those features, and
images are never accessed in the background. You can revoke either permission at any
time in iOS Settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and maintain your account
- Generate personalized supplement suggestions
- Provide reminders and intake tracking
- Read supplement labels you scan and identify the product
- Analyze blood work you upload and relate those markers to your supplement stack
- Offer support and improve the app
- Process subscription payments and determine which features you can access
We do not use your health information, blood work or photos for advertising, and we
do not use them to build profiles for any purpose other than providing the app.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with essential service
providers that help us operate Holis AI:
- Supabase for secure authentication, database and file storage,
including any blood work documents or images you upload
- OpenAI for AI features, including chat responses, label reading
and blood work interpretation. Where possible we minimize or anonymize personal
data before it is sent
- RevenueCat for subscription management and entitlement checks
- Apple for subscription processing and payment
- Amazon when you follow a product link from the app. Holis AI
participates in the Amazon Associates program and may earn a commission on
qualifying purchases. Amazon's own privacy policy governs what happens once you
leave the app
These service providers act as processors on our behalf and may process your content
only to provide the service. They do not use it for advertising.
4. Data Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest where applicable
- Secure authentication through Supabase
- Uploaded blood work and images are stored in access-controlled storage tied to
your account
- Access to personal data limited to personnel who need it
No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure, but we use commercially
reasonable safeguards.
5. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and update your profile in the app
- Delete individual blood work results in the app at any time
- Delete your account and all associated data from within the app, under
Settings, then Account
- Export a copy of your data by emailing a request
- Opt out of notifications and non-essential emails
6. Data Retention
- Data is retained while your account is active
- After cancellation we retain data for 30 days for potential reactivation
- After 30 days we permanently delete personal data, including uploaded blood work
and images
- You can request immediate deletion at any time
7. AI and Your Data
- Your inputs are used to personalize suggestions
- Chat messages are stored to improve responses and your experience
- Blood work values and label images are sent to our AI provider to produce the
analysis you requested
- Data sent to AI providers is minimized where possible
- AI outputs are informational and are not medical advice
8. Tracking
Holis AI does not track you across apps or websites, does not contain advertising
or analytics SDKs that identify you for advertising purposes, and does not share your
information with data brokers.
9. Children's Privacy
Holis AI is not intended for users under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from anyone under 17. If we learn that a child has provided personal
information, we will delete it promptly.
10. California Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights including the right to know, the right
to delete and the right to non-discrimination. We do not sell personal information.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will
notify you in the app or by email.
